So here is my first journal on Deviant Art. I am currently a grad student studying English Literature, and Deviant Art is a double edged sword for me. It gives me a break from studying, yet at the same time, is a huge source of procrastination. So it goes. Anyways, I am one of those people who LOVES trying new things all the time. When I came across this site, I suddenly wanted to become an artist. So, at the ripe old age of 24, I picked up a drawing pencil for the first time and am currently trying to teach myself to draw. I have never taken an art class of any kind, so it's certainly a challenge. One that's both frustrating and rewarding. More frustrating than rewarding at the moment...but hopefully that will change. For the time being, I may post some fiction that I have written in the past, since literature and fiction is my specialty Anyways, Ciao for now.
